Plasterer / Tiler

Bates & Bradshaw are recruiting on behalf of a major Construction & Maintenance company in the Hull area who operate as one of the leading building, repairs, and maintenance contractors. They are presently employing nearly 500 people and have a turnover of £50 million and they have some ambitious plans in place to grow this again over the coming years. Purpose of the Role

• To deliver Plastering or Tiling for responsive or routine maintenance repairs
• To deliver plastering and tiling work on construction contracts
• To discuss issues directly on site with customers to determine exact requirements
• Carry out work to specifications, drawing and work sheets
• To participate as part of the companies out of hours call out team

• To act as a mentor within the workplace for apprentices
• Accurately complete all relevant internal and external paperwork
• To drive company vehicles responsibly

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 Plastering or Tiling (Must be able to prove)
• Served a minimum of 2 years in the apprenticeship program
• Own Tools
• Full UK Driving Licence
• CSCS Card (Desirable)
