About Us:  

Based in Bromborough, Teledyne CML Composites is a fast growing manufacturer, supplying carbon/glass fibre composite parts and assemblies to some of the world’s leading aircraft and aero engine producers. Operating across three distinct product groups namely commercial, defence and business jet products, this role is an opportunity to join a team putting the finishing touches to our highly technical products. The manufacturing facility houses some of the most advanced machining technology in Europe such as a multi axis NDT robotic machine, automated material cutting machine and mutli-axis CNC machining centres. About You:  

You will be working in a dynamic and supportive team with over 100 employees onsite and 1,500+ across the UK. You will play a key role in supporting customer requirements  and meeting business objectives.   You will have previous prepping and painting experience with good finishing techniques. You will be hands on preparing the surfaces for painting as well as mixing and blending paint to the exterior of assembled aircraft parts.   This will be an opportunity to join a company long term who are investing in their people through direct 1-2-1 training and development.  

Job Purpose:

  • Preparing and painting aerospace components

  • Ensuring work is carried out within the allocated time and with the correct materials.

  • Correct use of Resins/Hardeners.

  • Mixing correct ratios.

  • Recording and monitoring material life.

  • Maintaining product traceability.

Training & Experience Requirements: -

  • Accredited training - Previous experience paint spraying in the Aerospace Industry is desirable but not a requirement

  • Experience using hand tools is desirable but not a requirement.

  • Experience using and/or mixing resins is desirable but not a requirement.
