The Role

About the Position

Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time Hours: 37 hours per week Salary: £25,878 per annum

Working Pattern:

  • Monday to Friday, working a mix of 8:00am–4:00pm and 1:00pm–9:00pm shifts, with an occasional requirement to stay until 10:00pm dependent on business needs

  • Weekend working on a rotated basis

  • Occasional bank holiday working required

  • Participation in a 24-hour on-call rota on a rotated basis


The Day to Day:

  • Process samples in line with our Quality Management System

  • Achieve sample completion targets and meet deadlines

  • Work closely with team members to ensure efficient sample processing

  • Understand and respond to customer requirements

  • Follow COSHH Risk Assessments to handle chemicals safely

  
The Essentials:

  • Minimum of an A Level in Science or an equivalent qualification

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records

  • Ability to follow instructions and procedures meticulously

  • Good communication skills and basic IT proficiency

  • A collaborative team player who can also organise and manage their workload independently

  • A customer-focused mindset with a dedication to providing excellent service
