Apply to this jobJob Bridge Global is seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician with Rotating Equipment Experience to join our clients team. In this role, you will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of rotating equipment, such as pumps, compressors, turbines, and motors. Your expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of our client's equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Candidates must have completed a mechanical apprenticeship within the oil and gas industry or marine / motor vehicle trade, 5 years’ experience preferred.
Able to apply themselves to repair both centrifugal and positive displacement pumps, steam powered turbines, fans, gearboxes, centrifugal and reciprocating compressors within an oil refinery or similar environment.
Other duties to include use of rotating equipment with the machine shop (lathe, miller, borer etc) and precision laser alignment, fault finding and able to work independently.
Training will be given to the successful candidate(s) where required.
