Maintenance Supervisor

Due to continued growth & expansion a global manufacturer is currently recruiting a Maintenance Supervisor. An experienced maintenance professional you will be comfortable leading a multi-disciplined team within fast paced manufacturing.

Commutable from: Bromsgrove, Redditch, Birmingham, Stratford upon Avon, Henley In Arden, Solihull, Droitwich.

Salary: £ 35,000 - £ 42,000 p.a. + benefits

The Role

As a Maintenance Supervisor you will responsible for leading a multiskilled maintenance team ensuring downtime of machinery is kept to a minimum. The role also focuses on continually improving the reliability of key machines by taking a proactive approach to preventative maintenance activities and process improvements.

Key responsibilities

Plan & control the work for a team of multi skilled Maintenance Engineers on a day to day basis

Implement and control the preventive maintenance plan

Diagnosing breakdown problems

To continuously improve machines and services to increase efficiency 

Give technical direction and support to the Maintenance Engineers

Ensure parts and labour costs are in line with budgets

Carrying out quality inspections on jobs

The Candidate

With a background in Maintenance you must have proven experience of leading a team within a fast-paced complex manufacturing environment. You will be comfortable working hands on when the need arises.

With a good understanding of best practice, you will have excellent people skills with the ability to get the best out of a team.
