Live In Carer

Home Instead Thornbury, Yate & Dursley are a part of the Home Instead Virtus Care Group who are a well-established, award-winning home care provider, supporting older people to live well and independently in the place they love most - their own home.
Our Thornbury office supports people living across Thornbury, Dursley, Berkeley, Yate, Almondsbury and all the surrounding areas. 

We are looking for a live in carer to support a lady living in Cam, Gloucestershire.
This client lives with her husband, who has done majority of her care for a long time, but is now needing the support from a live in carer.
This lady is living with dementia and we are there to predominately there to support her, but we would do meal preparation for the both of them and general home help.
The client needs support with personal care and encouragement to change her clothes, medication and enjoys going out for walks and to local groups. She also enjoys knitting and flower arranging.

As a Live in Carer with us, we can offer you:

• £130 per day and £195 on a bank holiday, plus a food supplement paid to you

This client does need a live in carer who is able to drive and has access to a vehicle. The rotation can be discussed and this would be 2 live in carers working opposite each other to support this client every day.
