Join Us

At Vodafone, we’re not just shaping the future of connectivity for our customers – we’re shaping the future for everyone who joins our team. When you work with us, you’re part of a global mission to connect people, solve complex challenges, and create a sustainable and more inclusive world. If you want to grow your career whilst finding the perfect balance between work and life, Vodafone offers the opportunities to help you belong and make a real impact.

We welcome applications from candidates based in Lisbon (Portugal), Ratingen (Germany), and Newbury (UK)—or nearby locations—who are excited to shape the future of digital workplace infrastructure.

What you’ll do

As a Solution Architect within our Office IT Infrastructure SSO & Cloud Strategy team, you’ll be at the forefront of shaping the digital backbone that supports Vodafone’s global workforce. From translating business needs into architectural blueprints to guiding the implementation of technologies like Active Directory, Entra ID, and passwordless authentication, your work will be instrumental in delivering consistent and future-ready IT services. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and technical authority to ensure our solutions are innovative, compliant, and aligned with business goals.

Who you are

We’re looking for someone who brings both strategic vision and hands-on expertise to the table. You’ll thrive in this role if you have:

  • Strong communication and presentation skills across diverse teams and cultures
  • The ability to influence and inspire stakeholders while balancing risk and innovation
  • Deep knowledge of infrastructure services, including Microsoft Active Directory, cloud platforms, and network/server technologies
  • A proactive mindset for identifying emerging technologies and translating them into business value
  • A Microsoft certification such as Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert

At Vodafone we are passionate about empowering people and creating a workplace where everyone can thrive, whatever their personal or professional background. If you’re excited about this role but your experience doesn’t align exactly with every part of the job description, we encourage you to still apply as you may be the right candidate for this role or another opportunity.
