Job description
Our project has been operating discretely since 2017, since then we have been working towards our goal of changing the world of logistics and mobility via future technology Aerospace vehicle solutions. 
 
We are currently in search of a High Voltage Airborne Architect. In this role you will be responsible for the design and overseeing of high voltage electrical systems for our current prototype. As part of your role, you will collaborate with our engineering teams in developing safe, efficient and reliable electrical architectures that meet our aircrafts performance needs. This is a hands-on role which needs a proactive and self-motivated individual to drive progress.

Responsibilities:

  • System Design: Designing high-voltage electrical systems, including power distribution, generation, conversion and protection mechanisms, to ensure optimal performance and safety in airborne environments.
  • Specification Development: Developing detailed specifications for high-voltage components, such as transformers, inverters, converters, and cables, considering factors like voltage levels, power ratings, weight and size constraint.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensuring compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations, such as RTCA/DO-160, RTCA/DO-178C and RTCA/DO-254, as well as industry-specific guidelines for high-voltage systems in aerospace applications.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in electrical or aerospace engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in Aerospace Industry in roles related to aircraft systems design, avionics, or electrical systems.
  • Familiarity with aviation regulations and standards (RTCA/DO-160, RTCA/DO-178C, and RTCA/DO-254).
  • Experience with simulation and modelling tools, such as MATLAB/Simulink, PSpice or LTspice.
