Job description

About the Job

Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end. At YouTube, we believe that everyone deserves to have a voice, and that the world is a better place when we listen, share, and build community through our stories. We work together to give everyone the power to share their story, explore what they love, and connect with one another in the process. Working at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and boundless creativity, we move at the speed of culture with a shared goal to show people the world. We explore new ideas, solve real problems, and have fun — and we do it all together.

  • Optimize and manage regional marketing resources, budgets, and investments to maximize commercial outcomes and accelerate Ads growth.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a marketing team, providing actionable 360-degree feedback and cultivating a culture of innovation and excellence.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 13 years of experience in business-to-business (B2B) marketing, product marketing, brand strategy, or digital advertising.
  • Experience in people management, including hiring, developing, and leading teams.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience managing the engaging interests and priorities of multiple executive stakeholders and various regional markets, building a joint goal across a highly matrixed, international organization.
  • Experience exercising exceptional creative taste and judgment.
  • Experience utilizing AI productivity tools to solve complex, multi-layered problems and streamline business or development workflows.
  • Knowledge of the advertising industry, B2B buying ecosystem, and B2B marketing strategies.
