Global Learning & Development Programs Lead

Location: Barcelona, Krakow, or London - 3-4 days/week onsite

About the Role

At Galderma, our ambition is to lead in dermatology and medical aesthetics—and that requires a new generation of leaders who can navigate science, innovation, and customer-centricity at speed.

We’re looking for a Global L&D Programs Lead to build and scale leadership capabilities across the organization. This role is about shaping how leaders think, decide, and show up—from first-time managers to senior global leaders.

You won’t just run leadership programs—you’ll define what great leadership looks like at Galderma and embed it into the business.

What You’ll Own

Define Leadership at Galderma

  • Translate business strategy into a clear, actionable leadership capability framework
  • Define the mindsets and behaviors needed to win in dermatology and medical aesthetics (e.g., scientific credibility, customer obsession, agility, ethical leadership)
  • Embed leadership expectations across the employee lifecycle

Build Leadership Journeys (Not One-Off Trainings)

  • Design and scale global leadership development experiences across levels:
    • New managers
    • Mid-level leaders
    • Senior and executive leadership
  • Create journeys that combine formal learning, coaching, stretch experiences, and real business challenges

Develop Leaders Who Can Operate in Complexity

  • Equip leaders to:
    • Lead in a VUCA, competing, science-driven, highly regulated environment
    • Balance global strategy with local market needs
    • Drive innovation while managing risk
  • Integrate topics like decision-making under uncertainty, cross-functional leadership, and leading transformation

Partner with the Business

  • Work directly with senior HR and business leaders across commercial, medical, and corporate functions
  • Act as a thought partner on leadership & skills gaps
  • Co-create solutions that are grounded in real business challenges, not generic models

Modernize Leadership Development

  • Move beyond classroom training to scalable, high-impact formats:
    • Cohort-based programs
    • Action learning tied to business priorities
    • Digital and on-demand leadership tools
  • Bring in external perspectives when relevant (e.g., executive coaches, industry experts)

Embed & Sustain Behavior Change

  • Ensure leadership development translates into day-to-day behavior
  • Partner with Talent & HRBPs to integrate learning into performance, talent, and succession processes
  • Create mechanisms for reinforcement (manager enablement, nudges, peer learning)

Measure Leadership Impact

  • Define success in terms of leadership effectiveness and business outcomes
  • Track impact on engagement, performance, and talent progression
  • Use insights to continuously evolve leadership programs

What You Bring

  • Strong experience in Learning & Development, with strong focus on leadership development
  • Experience in Consumer, pharma, healthcare is an asset
  • Proven ability to design and scale leadership programs globally
  • Strong understanding of leadership frameworks and behavior change
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders and executive populations
  • Ability to connect leadership development to real business impact

How You Work

  • You think in terms of systems and impact, not just programs
  • You’re comfortable challenging senior leaders and influencing without authority
  • You simplify complexity into clear leadership expectations
  • You move fast, test, and iterate
  • You care deeply about developing people—not just delivering content

Why This Role

  • You’ll define and shape leadership at a global dermatology and aesthetics leader
  • You’ll work at the intersection of science, business, and human performance
  • You’ll build something that scales globally and lasts beyond individual programs
  • You’ll have real influence on how the organization grows and leads
