Job description
Tonic are currently searching for a General Manager for an exciting and diverse role as the General Manager of a city centre Café. This is an opportunity which you can really make your own; candidates who have not yet been a General Manager will be able to receive training on every aspect of the role as they develop, candidates who feel comfortable in taking control of the business already will have total autonomy including arranging events within the cafe space.

This is a small yet growing business where an entrepreneurial mindset could see you growing within your role and the business as a whole as they add sites to their portfolio. Here, you will know the business owner and be able to have regular meetings, they will also give you the space to run the café as you would like to.

Candidates for this role should;
  • Have experience in a similar Supervisory or Management position, ideally working with coffee
  • Have a real passion for customer service and high standards, be able to motivate your team to work at the same level
  • Show their excitement about the prospect of running this Café as if it were their own and taking pride in what they accheive
  • Show a stable work history where any short stays can be explained due to valid reasons
