We are seeking a skilled individual to join our Manufacturing/Process Engineering Team in Cardiff, UK. This is an on-site position, reporting to the Engineering Production Leader.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on all production equipment.

  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, process changeovers, safety actions, and machine setups.

  • Participate in installation qualifications, risk assessments, PUWER, and LOTO procedures.

  • Collaborate with process engineering to monitor equipment performance and drive continuous improvement.

About You:

  • Hold an apprenticeship or equivalent formal qualifications (NVQ 3, HNC, or BTEC) in production maintenance manufacture with an electrical OR mechanical background.

  • Thrive under time pressure, working effectively both independently and as part of a team.

  • Motivated, with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

Desirable Experience:

  • Mechanical maintenance experience.

  • Experience with PLCs - able to interrogate and modify PLC software (Siemens / Mitsubishi).
