From maintenance, machining and installation to technical design, software development and project management, their expertise helps power our sites, develop customer solutions and support continuous improvement across the business. We're looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join the team and play a key role in shaping innovative solutions and supporting our long-term success.
So, what’s the mission?
Working as part of the team, your main responsibilities will be to ensure the continuous running of the production process by eliminating engineering downtime through a safe and logical approach to fault finding and maintenance of equipment reactive engineering activities on site.
What are the mission-critical skills?
- A strong electrical working knowledge with some mechanical experience
- The ideal applicant will be a qualified, time served engineer in a similar position ideally at NVQ 3 level
- Ideally apprentice trained and qualified to the 18th edition wiring regulations
- PLC fault finding skills are highly desirable (Siemens, Allen Bradley etc.)
- Working knowledge of robots and automated process plant & machinery
- Experience in mechanical fitting, welding, fabrication and general machining would be an advantage
- Experienced in reactive and planned maintenance of electrical systems controlling hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors (belts, chain, rollers, bearings, gear boxes, motors etc.), and able to read technical drawings
