Nursery – Bright Horizons Milton Park Day Nursery

Salary – £27,976 per annum (dependent on qualification/s and experience)

Hours - 40 Hours Per Week | Mon-Fri | Permanent

Location – Abingdon, Oxfordshire

We’re looking for an Early Years Assistant to join our Milton Park Day Nursery!

Our Bright Horizons Milton Park Day Nursery and Preschool is Ofsted rated 'Good' , has good transport links, and onsite parking. The nursery has 148 places and is purpose built, so boasts spacious rooms and has a large garden area with climbing equipment, cycling space, sensory stations and a dedicated baby garden which the children use is all weathers!

The Role

As an Early Years Assistant, you will work as part of a team to look after babies and children up to the age of 5. You will have adventures with our children through interactive play, activities, reading, and encouraging their curious minds – supporting colleagues with each child’s development towards their key milestones.  

What we’re looking for

  • Previous experience working with children ideal but not essential – Nursery Bank Staff, Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar

  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child

  • Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents

  • Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
