Job description

Covetrus is a global animal-health technology and services leader dedicated to empowering veterinary practice partners to drive improved health and financial outcomes. We bring together products, services, and technology into a single platform that connects our customers to the solutions and insights they need to work best. Our passion for the well-being of animals and those who care for them drives us to advance the world of veterinary medicine.

The Role

As part of a transformation of our APAC Commercial team, we’re recruiting a newly created Customer Enablement Team Lead. In this role, you’ll support a specialist team that helps customers across Australia and New Zealand get the most out of Provet’s systems and services – covering everything from onboarding and enablement tools to events, account management bid coordination, and analytics and reporting, backed by back-of-house support to elevate the customer experience.

This is a permanent, full-time role based out of Sydney (Erskine Park).

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting and guiding the Customer Enablement team day-to-day, helping set clear expectations and fostering a collaborative, customer-centric culture.
  • Overseeing new account onboarding lifecycle and ongoing care for new accounts.
  • Coordinating the end-to-end account management bid process, from brief intake through to submission and contract handover.
  • Managing the planning and execution of sales‑related events, conferences, and customer engagement activities, coordinating logistics, content development, and post-event reporting.
  • Leading the preparation and coordination of Quarterly Business Reviews materials, ensuring insights are clear, data‑driven, and aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Overseeing data analytics, reporting and business support to identify trends, opportunities, areas for improvement, and actionable insights to guide the sales team towards high-value opportunities and strategic focus areas.
  • Customer communication management through ensuring the Branch Newsletter is developed and distributed and pricing and product communications are shared.
  • Oversee general customer support relating to credit management, back-order coordination, dropship order processing, scanner management, and the management of Partnership Guides.

About You

To be successful you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in sales enablement, sales operations or commercial support within a sales organisation.
  • Experience in leading a team and industry experience across animal health will be advantageous.
  • Advanced analytical skills with demonstrated experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Dynamics, HubSpot).
  • Collaboration skills and the ability to navigate through a matrix organisation and to manage complex customers.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage time and priorities.

Covetrus is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, color, religion, national origin, disability, protected Veteran status, age, or any other characteristic protected by law.
