Control Systems Engineer

Our client is a major manufacturer in Burton and a global leader in their field. Owing to continued success, they are now looking to recruit an experienced Control & Systems Engineer to provide efficient delivery of highly technologically focussed project and improvement programs. Ideally, you will have experience of working within a busy engineering function and your key duties will entail:

• Understanding how the role of C&S Engineer complements and works with other factory functions;
• Solving problems through standard analysis tools and systems and regular liaison with colleagues, management, etc;
• Regular work with SCADA systems including PLC interface;
• Programming and fault finding AC and DC drives.

Candidates must have a flexible approach with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines. You should also have extensive knowledge of SCADA systems in addition to a broad knowledge of industrial automation systems including Siemens S7 and GEM 80. Finally, you will have excellent communication skills and be a team player with a motivated outlook.
