About the Hiring Team

Lightspeed Tech Center is a R&D department under Lightspeed Studios which develop PUBG Mobile and other high-quality games. Our Tech Center leads the research, exploration, and discovery of innovative technologies and provides technical services for all games during all phases of life cycle, including engine, audio, QA, AI, next generation game, technical cooperation, etc.

What the Role Entails

  • Working closely with senior engineers and scientists to research and develop real time physics simulation, such as fluid simulation, cloth simulation, deformable body and rigid body, animation, etc.
  • Reading and understanding the latest technical research papers, working with scientists to reproduce tech paper and improve the performance and quality.

Who We Look For

  • Strong mathematics skills, such as calculus, linear algebra, differential geometry, and basic numerical analysis.
  • Familiar with C++ programming.
  • A strong sense of responsibility and good communication skills
  • Ability to read papers and implement the code in existing engines like Unreal or Unity.


Plus:

  • Familiar with GPU computing such as CUDA or DirectCompute.
  • Familiar with graphics APIs, such as OpenGL or DirectX
  • Publications on Siggraph/TOG/Eurographics/CGF/TVCG/SCA/I3D
