Reporting to: Head of Business Development

Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum DOE

The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Community Engagement Lead to be the face of Home Instead within the local community. This is a dynamic and rewarding role that blends networking with a strong focus on growth, giving you the opportunity to make a real impact while building valuable local connections.

You will play a key role in expanding our presence across Newport and surrounding areas, developing partnerships and uncovering new opportunities to grow our care services through B2B networks and community connections.

Key Responsibilities

Community Networking

  • Build and develop strong connections with local community groups, charities, healthcare professionals, and businesses
  • Represent Home Instead at networking events, community activities, and local initiatives
  • Proactively seek out new opportunities to grow our presence and strengthen community links

B2B Partnerships

  • Build strong connections with key B2B stakeholders, including healthcare providers, local organisations, and referral partners
  • Develop a reliable referral network that drives a steady flow of potential client enquiries
  • Keep partnerships active and engaged to support long-term collaboration

Brand Awareness & Promotion

  • Be a passionate brand ambassador, bringing Home Instead’s values and services to life in the community
  • Support and deliver engaging local marketing campaigns and awareness initiatives
  • Establish Memory Cafés and Wellbeing Hubs, and deliver community talks and events that engage, connect, and inspire local audiences

Growth & Enquiries

  • Drive the delivery of the business plan for the financial year, supporting growth through community networking, B2B relationships, and increased client enquiries.
  • Generate potential new enquiries through proactive networking and outreach activity
  • Monitor and report on outreach activity and its contribution to growth

Community Presence

  • Be the friendly and recognisable face of the Home Instead across Newport, Market Drayton, Wellington, and surrounding areas
  • Represent Home Instead with professionalism, warmth, and confidence
  • Support and facilitate awareness initiatives that reflect our values and community spirit

About You

  • A confident and outgoing communicator who thrives on building connections
  • Experience in B2B environments, sales, community networking, or similar roles
  • Commercially aware, with a natural ability to spot opportunities for growth
  • Passionate about making a genuine difference in the lives of older people
  • Self-motivated, organised, and driven to achieve results
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
