Community Care Worker

Home Instead covers the main towns of Brentwood, Billericay and Upminster as well as surrounding areas of Warley, Hutton, West Horndon and Averley. Care Worker Benefits:

• Excellent pay rates - £13.20 Per hour weekdays/ £14.70 Per hour weekends- plus double pay for enhanced bank holiday rates. 
• Types of hours available - Part time & Guaranteed contract. 
• Minimum 1 hour calls – so you have the time needed with client

Care Worker responsibilities:

• Companionship - ensuring a client enjoys regular and meaningful social interaction is an important part of your visit
• Help with everyday tasks such as; meal preparation and light housework
• Accompanying to appointments or shopping
• Personal care - supporting our clients with the essentials such as bathing, showering, dressing and grooming to keep them healthy and independent

THIS ROLE REQUIRES THAT THE APPLICANT RESIDES IN THE UK AND HAS THE RIGHT TO WORK IN THE UK.  We are not sponsoring VISA applications at this time.

We will be offering a "Waking Night" role, which is where a client requires prolonged and/or frequent support during the night and the Care Professional is awake and working. A Waking Night shift is a 10 hour shift to start and finish at times agreed.

• £132 Per shift 
• £13.20 Per hour Weekdays/£14.70 Per hour Weekends
