Responsibilities

  • Perform inspections and assessments of surface preparation and coating application processes.
  • Verify compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and approved coating procedures.
  • Conduct tests such as dry film thickness, holiday detection, and adhesion testing.
  • Document inspection results, generate reports, and communicate findings to project managers and stakeholders.
  • Identify and recommend corrective actions for any non-conformities or deficiencies observed.
  • Collaborate with contractors and other personnel to ensure successful coating application.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in coating materials and inspection methods.

Requirements

  • Certification in Coating Inspection (e.g., NACE, FROSIO, or equivalent) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in coating inspection within the Oil & Energy sector or similar industries.
  • Strong understanding of coating materials, application processes, and inspection methods.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and project documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey inspection results to various stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness to work in various environments, including offshore or remote locations as required.
