Job Title: Clinical Trainer - Neuroscience
Location: Field Based, covering Central/Southern England
Type: Permanent, with part-time availability

Are you a qualified Health Care Professional with proven clinical injector experience within either Spasticity or Cervical Dystonia looking to make a wider impact within neurology and neuro-rehabilitation? If so, this position could be the perfect fit for you!

We’re looking for a Clinical Trainer to support our Neuroscience franchise on a permanent basis. The position offers full-time/part-time flexibility, allowing you to continue your clinical work if needed. As the successful candidate you’ll develop and deliver training programs for healthcare professionals, helping new and experienced toxin injectors. Your work will improve customer access, lead training sessions, and advocate for Ipsen’s products within neurology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and Deliver Training: Develop and implement training programs for healthcare professionals, focusing on botulinum toxin injectors.
  • Improve Customer Access: Provide top-notch training and support through face-to-face and virtual meetings.
  • Build Relationships: Develop strong connections with customers and work with the team to overcome challenges.
  • Lead Training Sessions: Conduct training with a focus on achieving goals and ensuring a good return on investment.
  • Product Expert: Be the go-to person for all questions about injector training.
  • Manage Budget: Ensure the budget for training events is used effectively and aligns with the brand strategy.
  • Follow Regulations: Adhere to all relevant regulations and standards in training programs.
  • Understand NHS: Have a good understanding of the NHS, including payment flows, patient pathways, and regulatory bodies.
  • Align with Strategy: Ensure training programs align with account strategies and address any challenges.
  • Influence Leaders: Work with opinion leaders to support the brand advocacy plan.
  • Promote the Brand: Ensure customers are confident in promoting Ipsen’s Neuroscience product as the product of choice.
  • Manage Projects: Take ownership of projects and ensure they are completed successfully.
  • Collaborate: Work with major stakeholders to ensure plans are aligned and executed effectively.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively to implement strategies successfully.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Health Care Professional currently registered with GMC, NMC or Health and Care Professions Council
  • Proven clinical experience, especially in training or educational roles involving botulinum injections, in either cervical dystonia or spasticity. Using ultrasound for muscle localisation if needed.
  • Relevant certifications such as CPR, BLS, or other clinical education certifications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in using educational technology and simulation tools, ability to develop and deliver effective training programs, and knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design.
