We’re looking for a Clinical Safety Officer to join our growing team someone curious, collaborative, and eager to learn. This is an ideal role for clinicians who are looking to explore a career in healthcare compliance.

About the opportunity:

 

Digital health is advancing fast, and safe implementation has never been more important. As a CSO, you’ll play a key role in supporting the delivery of clinical safety activities across a range of innovative health technologies all while being coached by experienced CSOs who’ll help you develop confidence, capability, and autonomy.

In particular, you will:                 

 

  • Provide advice and guidance to senior management and line managers Contribute to hazard logs, safety cases, and risk management plans across multiple digital health products
  • Assist in the application of DCB0129 and DCB0160 for client organisations
  • Support clinical incident review processes and help identify potential risks in digital systems
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe design, deployment, and use of health IT systems
  • Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders while developing your professional confidence
  • Escalate complex issues to senior CSOs and use these as learning opportunities
  • Grow your understanding of medical device regulation, safety standards, and AI assurance frameworks over time

Who we are looking for:

  • Active UK clinical registration
  • Completion of the Clinical Risk Management training course (Desirable)
  • A foundational understanding of safety cases, risk controls, and hazard identification
  • Exposure to digital health whether through projects, service improvement, or direct system use
  • Strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail
  • A willingness to learn, take feedback, and build your capability step-by-step
