About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to support a defence infrastructure design authority responsible for ensuring critical infrastructure remains safe, compliant, and fit for purpose. In this role, you will provide civil engineering expertise across the assessment, specification, and maintenance of complex infrastructure assets within a highly regulated environment

Required Experience

  • Experience assessing reinforced concrete and steel structures subjected to dynamic loading, including seismic, blast, wind, rain, and snow loads.

  • Experience working with reinforced concrete and steel marine structures, including jetties.

  • Experience producing robust technical justifications to support design modifications within high-hazard industries.

  • Ability to apply theoretical and practical engineering methods across the lifecycle of engineering systems in nuclear or similarly high-risk environments.

  • Broad engineering knowledge with the ability to apply both established and emerging technologies.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.

  • Incorporated Engineer status (or equivalent experience).

Location

This role is remote with occasional site visits

Your own transport is essential.
