Job description

Home Instead is the world’s leading provider of non-medical care and companionship services for vulnerable adults and our elderly community. We build relationships by individually matching one of our team of Care Professionals to the person they support.

We never do short, sharp, task-led calls but visit for a minimum of 2 hours; employing local people, the vast majority whom drive and are specifically insured to take our clients out.

Happy to provide home help and personal care too, this tailored support is centred upon our client’s emotional and social wellbeing rather than just providing a time-and-task- driven service. Home Instead Care Professionals don’t wear a uniform or have branded cars and are proud to be different.

We are looking for people with kind, compassionate hearts who want to make a positive difference in the quality of life of our clients. If you live in Reigate, Tandridge, Redhill, Oxted,  or the surrounding areas, and are free at weekends, we would love to hear from you.

As one of a team of Care Professionals, you will provide a variety of non-medical services to help our clients continue to live independently in their own homes, from providing help to prepare meals, memorable trips out, and dog walking, to personal care. We are looking for people with a passion for supporting others, who are reliable, trustworthy, and respectful. You should enjoy building professional friendships and comfortable spending time in the company of others.

Award-Winning training will be given, to reach our high standards.

In return we can offer you:

  • Our Pay rates are;

Monday to Friday 9 am - 5 pm £12.15 per hour

Weekends and outside of 9 am - 5 pm £13.25 per hour

We also pay Mileage after the first 7-mile commute at 30pence per mile.

  • Other benefits (some examples below)
  • The opportunity to be part of an award-winning organization, rated Outstanding by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), focused on providing the highest quality of care to our clients and being the employer of choice in the local area.
  • City and Guilds Accredited Dementia, Parkinson's, and End of Life Training
  • Support to further your professional standing through completion of the Care Certificate, and Health and Social Care QCF framework.
  • Employee Assistance Programme provides 24/7 advice, resources, and information to support your wellbeing.
  • Employee Reward scheme
  • Employee Shopping Discount Scheme
  • Comprehensive infection control training and PPE provided

As a Care Professional, you will receive industry leading training, great rates of pay and excellent support. We are also able to offer both Guaranteed Hours and Zero Hours contracts with Part Time and Full Time roles available.

If you're looking for work which is extremely rewarding and satisfying, and you have a high-degree of  flexibility to meet our clients' needs, we would love to hear from you. Please click on 'I'm Interested' or alternatively, contact us on 01737 529793. We encourage applications from all.
