We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Waking Night Care Assistant to provide high-quality care and support to individuals during the night. As an Evening Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing essential support and care to our clients in their homes during the evening hours.

  • This role is primarily focused on assisting those in need of overnight care in a peaceful and safe environment
  • Offer reassurance, help with personal care needs, and ensure that our clients are comfortable throughout the night
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals
  • Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or wellbeing
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and any incidents or concerns
  • Respond appropriately to emergencies and seek assistance when necessary

  • Previous experience in a care assistant role is preferred but not essential
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical fitness to assist clients with mobility and personal care tasks
  • Reliability and punctuality, with a strong work ethic
  • Basic first aid knowledge (training can be provided)
  • Valid driving licence and access to own vehicle (preferred)
  • Flexibility to work evening shifts and occasional weekends
  • Willingness to undergo a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
  • Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and dignity at all times
  • Ability to follow care plans and adhere to company policies and procedures
