Care Professional

At Home Instead we know how important it is for people in our local community to live where they feel most comfortable - at home. We are looking for caring, compassionate individuals to help us support others to stay independent in their own home in Matlock and Ashbourne.

We have shift options between 7am - 10pm, with alternate weekends required.

We match our Care Professionals and clients together so memorable connections can be established. All initial calls with a client who is new to you will be introductions with the support of another colleague, so you can really get to know your client and their needs.

Responsibilities as a Care Assistant:

• Support with personal care tasks such as toileting and showering.
• Perform household tasks such as light cleaning and tidying.
• Respond to your clients needs.
• Ensure transparent communication with clients and loved ones, offering first-rate care and comfort.
• Write accurate daily notes, keeping up strong communication with the office.
• Administer medication and record appropriately.

Requirements:

• You must be reliable and punctual to ensure we can continue to provide an excellent service to our clients.
• Must be happy to visit clients in all the areas listed.
• Must have a caring, friendly personality.
• You must have a driver's licence and access to your own vehicle.

Compensation (from employer):
13 – 14.75 GBP (HOURLY)
