Care Assistant

Location: Darlington

Pay Rate: £13.50 to £13.75 per hour 

Shifts Available:  7am – 7.30pm days and 7pm – 7:30am nights, additional holiday/sickness cover

What you’ll do

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and skilled Complex Care Support Worker to join a small, dedicated team supporting our Client Nic with complex health needs due to Optic Neuritis and Transverse Myelitis. They have a tracheostomy and require Ventilation, they need PEG feeding , use a Catheter and require help to mobilise at home and outside in the community. We are looking for someone who can help Nic run her house and participate in her interests which including watching Horse Racing and Football, Nic is a Sunderland fan.

This role involves delivering person-centred care, promoting independence and supporting clinical professionals to provide consistent and high-quality care

What you’ll do

• Experience in complex care or similar clinical settings (preferred).
• Competency or willingness to be trained in tracheostomy and PEG care.
• Reliability, patience, and a person-centred approach.
• Ability to communicate clearly and work well within a team and family environment.
