About Wheely

Wheely is redefining premium transportation across major cities in Europe, the US, and the Middle East. We blend cutting-edge technology with the craft of five-star chauffeuring to deliver an experience trusted by more than 100,000 active riders and 1,200 corporate accounts.

We’re a profitable, fast-growing scale-up with $43M raised and over $100M in annual revenue. Having recently launched in New York City, we’re expanding rapidly across the US and EMEA. If you take pride in your craft and want to help shape the next chapter of our growth, we'd love to hear from you.

About The Role

At Wheely, Operations is the core engine of our business. We operate a high-frequency, luxury marketplace where precision is the baseline. As an Associate Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the health of our marketplace. You will work alongside senior leadership to solve complex supply-demand challenges, optimise pricing mechanics, and ensure systemic efficiency across your market.

Responsibilities

  • Operational Analytics: Utilise advanced data analytics to perform deep-dive root-cause analysis on marketplace inefficiencies. You are expected to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and strategic recommendations that directly influence business performance.
  • Marketplace Optimisation: Leverage predictive forecasting to anticipate market needs and deploy tactical levers including dynamic pricing, structured chauffeur incentives, and configuration adjustments.
  • Strategic Execution & Impact: Own the full execution lifecycle: from deploying localised configurations to monitoring post-launch performance. You will move beyond delivery to validate that every initiative achieves its intended business impact, iterating on tactics in real-time to ensure measurable improvements.
  • Product and Operations Link: Act as the strategic link between Product and Local Operations to solve marketplace inefficiencies. You will translate local operational friction into technical requirements to further improve marketplace health and platform functionality.

Requirements

  • Academic Excellence: A degree in a highly quantitative field (Economics, Mathematics, Physics, or Engineering) from a top-tier university. You must have a strong foundation in first-principles thinking
  • Analytical Curiosity: Exceptional logical skills with the ability to draw conclusions from data. While not a day-one requirement, you must have a strong desire to master data analysis tools (i.e. SQL, Python etc)
  • Problem Solving: A natural ability to break down ambiguous problems into structured solutions.
  • Intensity & Ownership: Evidence of a high-performance mindset. We look for "finishers", this could be demonstrated through intense academic research, competitive sports, demanding internships, or complex personal projects.
  • Communication: The ability to present complex ideas with clarity and structure.
  • Ability to work from the Wheely Academy (Hammersmith, London) 5 days a week.

What We Offer

  • Office-based role in West London
  • Base salary of £38,000.00 - £43,500.00 p.a.
  • Employee stock options plan
  • Private medical and dental insurance
  • Life and critical illness cover
  • Best-in-class equipment
  • Monthly credit towards Wheely journeys
  • Cycle to Work scheme
  • Professional development stipend
