We partner with teams across Google to deliver bold solutions in abuse areas such as malware, spam and account hijacking. A team of Analysts, Policy Specialists, Engineers, and Program Managers, we work to reduce risk and fight abuse across all of Google’s products, protecting our users, advertisers, and publishers across the globe in over 40 languages.

Responsibilities

  • Manage an overview of project goals and deliverables presented on a timeline and use the roadmap to manage stakeholder expectations, and to communicate plans and coordinate resources.
  • Collaborate with team members or stakeholders to understand or identify work problems and program goals, obtain prioritized deliverables, and discuss program impact.
  • Complete (e.g., budget, schedule, resource, technical) risk identification and risk assessment activities and mitigation plans in addition to monitoring foreseeable risk, and recording its evolution and influence on project/program objectives.
  • Establish and track processes in collaboration with stakeholders, hold stakeholders/teams accountable for following the established processes, identify sponsors and stakeholders and secure resources, ensure work alignment with compliance/privacy policies, identify opportunities, implement process improvements, and support/promote the adoption of processes.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in program or project management.
  • 7 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Program Management certification.
  • Experience in Program Management with a technology company.
  • Experience in stakeholder management.
  • Ability to manage and coordinate multiple large programs simultaneously, particularly when dealing with changing requirements, engaging demands, inputs from multiple stakeholders and external deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear and concise narratives for communications, presentations and reports. Ability to tailor communications to inform and influence different stakeholders.
