Accounts/ Automation Manager

Job description

Velocity Partners is that B2B content marketing agency you’ve heard so much about. We’re getting famous for turning complex tech-talk into clear, compelling stories that incite action.

We’re forty-or-so content marketing pioneers, climbing the steep part of the learning curve together (the fun bit). We’re always challenging our clients to take a stand on the issues that matter most to their audiences and to find cool, new (mostly digital) ways to do it.

We work for some of the most interesting tech companies in the world, from disruptive start-ups to the big brands. And we do it from a lovely 1930s factory building in leafy Richmond – right by the river.

Talent and cultural fit are non-negotiable. Almost everything else is.

Responsibilities:

¥ Assist in the development of successful content marketing campaigns, with a balanced focus on content creation and performance.

¥ Management and implementation of marketing automation processes, including nurturing campaigns and lead scoring models.

¥ Execution of complex, trigger-based campaigns including multivariate email programs.

¥ Develop and document operational processes and lead workflows to improve overall organisational efficiency.

¥ Maintain standardised metrics reports on campaign effectiveness through accurate lead monitoring and pipeline analysis.

Requirements:

¥ First and foremost, we’re looking for someone passionate about marketing automation in a B2B Marketing context, eager to learn more about the benefits it brings to our clients.

¥ Ideally you may have had previous experience in a Marketing Operations or Inbound Marketing role.

¥ Proficiency in at least one of the main marketing automation platforms (i.e. Marketo, Hubspot, Pardot, Silverpop or Eloqua).

¥ Knowledge of industry email marketing, optimisation, A/B testing and best practices.

¥ Basic to intermediate knowledge of HTML and CSS.

¥ Knowledge of Salesforce and Google Analytics is a plus.

¥ Strong understanding of marketing campaign reporting and analytics, including mastery of Microsoft Excel, and their use in testing and optimising campaigns.

¥ Helpful and collaborative with strong problem solving skills.

¥ Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time and disposition to support our ever-changing environment and growing team.

¥ Extremely detail-oriented and methodical with a desire to test, learn and iterate.

Passionate for new technologies and unconventional thinking.
