Job description

Our client is an award-winning communications company looking for an IT Support Contractor in Sutton-In-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire to provide specialist support to all Group users ensuring that all functions are carried out legally and in accordance with best practice.

Responsibilities:

·To provide first and second line ‘help desk’ user support for designated applications software

·To provide first and second line hardware support for desktop and server applications

·To provide remote support for mobile staff, home users and other Group sites.

·To maintain the telephone system.

·To be the contact point for the company mobiles – arranging upgrades, repairs and new equipment.

·To provide technical knowledge for IT and electronic systems that aid the production equipment including the shop floor data collection systems.

·Responsible for server backups and media.

·To carry out the role of system administration all software packages in use.

·Undertake to comply with the Information Security Management System (ISMS) and its associated policies

·Any other duties that may be required from time to time.

The successful candidate will possess the following:

·Educated to A level or equivalent (computing or business)

·Qualified in PC windows admin/MS office support

·Established business background

·Working as part of a team

·Database skills an advantage

Benefits:

This is a 6-month contract with a package including an attractive salary of £24,000

Hours of work - 8:30-17:00 and 30 mins for lunch
