Wash Bay Attendant

About the Role

We are looking for a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Wash Bay Attendant to join our team. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, enjoys working around heavy equipment, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for washing and detailing trucks and heavy equipment, maintaining a clean, organized, and safe wash bay, supporting general facility maintenance activities, and assisting technicians with shop-related tasks. This role also includes picking up and delivering parts as required while contributing to the overall efficiency and success of the service team.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Wash and detail heavy equipment, trucks and related equipment
  • Keep the wash bay clean, organized and safe
  • Assist in some general facility maintenance
  • Assist Technicians as needed
  • Pick-up and delivery parts as required
  • Perform any other duties as required

 

Total Rewards

  • Competitive hourly wage of $24.60-$25.00, per hour, based on experience and qualifications

Position Details

Location – Innisfil, Ontario

Status - Permanent

Position Type – Hourly (overtime paid in accordance with applicable employment legislation)

Schedule - Monday-Friday - occasional extended hours may be required based on operational needs.

What You Bring:

  • Previous detailing experience
  • Mechanical aptitude or previous exposure to heavy equipment or shop work environment is an asset
  • Experience operating heavy equipment or trucks
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to use computers including MS Office
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills and commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with a positive attitude
  • Demonstrated team player and willing to assist others when required

 

Additional Requirements:

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract
  • Forklift license or willing to obtain
  • Ability to operate a Company vehicle as this is a requirement of the position

 

Work Environment:

  •  Combination of warehouse and office environment
  •  Exposure to noise and shop activity
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting materials and equipment.
