Village Kids Coordinator

The Village Kids Coordinator helps create a welcoming, organized, and engaging environment for children, families, and volunteers. This role oversees the preparation and support needed for successful Village Kids classrooms each week, ensuring volunteers are equipped, resources are ready, and kids have a positive experience where they can learn and grow.

Working closely with the Family Ministries team, the Village Kids Coordinator supports the mission, vision, and ministry strategy of Village Church.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate classroom preparation, including curriculum materials, supplies, crafts, and teaching resources.
• Ensure volunteers have the information and resources they need each week, including sending weekly lesson communications.
• Support Sunday ministry operations by assisting Team Leads, Training Leads, and volunteer teams.
• Maintain volunteer records and support volunteer onboarding, training, and scheduling.
• Coordinate with ministry teams to ensure classrooms are equipped and ready for ministry.
• Oversee classroom equipment, storage, technology needs, and ministry resources.
• Help create a safe, welcoming, and excellent environment for children and families.

• Ministry resources, equipment, and supplies are maintained and available when needed.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Committed to and aligned with Village Church's mission, vision, and values.
• A growing follower of Jesus with a heart for discipling children and families.
• Meets the biblical character qualifications outlined in 1 Timothy and Titus.
• Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable, flexible, coachable, and collaborative.
• Demonstrates initiative, attention to detail, and strong follow-through.

Work Week

• 16 Hours
• Sundays and Wednesdays (could be flexible)

Benefits

Vacation: 3 weeks

Salary: $19.50/hr
