About the Role

The Territory Manager will be responsible for driving sales, building & maintaining relationships with retail clients and ensuring overall customer satisfaction within the Cannabis industry. The role involves presenting product information, negotiating business opportunities, securing strong retail relationships and exceeding sales targets. We are looking for experienced & dynamic sales professionals focused on delivering results in a competitive environment.

Responsibilities

Sales & Promotion

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve organizational sales goals & objectives

  • Promote & sell cannabis products to retailers & other relevant businesses

  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to new & existing clients

Client Relationship Management

  • Build & maintain strong relationships

  • Provide excellent client service and timely follow-up to ensure satisfaction

  • Address client inquiries, concerns and feedback in a timely and professional manner

Market Research & analysis

  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions and competitor products

  • Identify potential sales & market opportunities

  • Collect and analyze sales data to inform future business decisions & strategies

Sales Administration

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions & transactions

  • Assist in the development of sales materials, presentations & promotional content

  • Prepare & submit sales reports, forecasts and any additional relevant documentation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing or a related field an asset

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the cannabis industry or a relevant field

  • Strong sales & negotiation skills

  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills

  • Ability to build & maintain professional relationships

  • Knowledge of Cannabis products and industry regulations

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software

  • Self-motivated, results driven and able to excel independently

  • Responds positively to coaching & feedback

Other requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

  • Willingness to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry necessary events

  • Willing to provide consent to a background check

Working Conditions:

  • The position requires travel to various locations as assigned

  • Work hours can vary and may include evenings & weekends to accommodate client schedules & industry events

Targeted Compensation - $70,000 - $85,000
