This is an opportunity to make a real impact by leading a high-performing team, driving continuous improvement, and partnering with leaders across the organization to balance smart risk management with exceptional customer experience.

As the Sr Credit Manager, you will

  • Oversee customer credit evaluations, risk assessments, credit limits, and exposure management.
  • Maintain and enhance credit policies, procedures, and controls that balance risk management with business growth.
  • Drive collections performance by managing aging accounts, negotiating payment arrangements, and reducing bad debt exposure.
  • Monitor customer payment trends and financial health to proactively identify and mitigate risk.
  • Manage credit holds and order releases, making sound decisions that support both revenue and risk objectives.
  • Partner with Sales, Operations, Customer Service, and Finance to resolve issues, improve collection outcomes, and strengthen customer relationships.
  • Review and approve credit applications, limit increases, and policy exceptions within established authority levels.
  • Track and improve key metrics, including DSO, collection effectiveness, bad debt expense, cash flow, and working capital performance.
  • Prepare and present credit risk, collections, and receivables reporting to senior leadership.
  • Champion process improvements, automation initiatives, and operational efficiencies that enhance team performance and scalability.
  • Provide credit risk expertise and strategic insights that support key business decisions and long-term growth.

To be successful in this role, you have

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in Credit Management.
  • Proven leadership experience building and developing successful teams.
  • Strong expertise in credit risk assessment, collections, receivables, and negotiation.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to balance customer service, profitability, and risk.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an asset.
  • University degree and/or CCP designation preferred.
