Job description
At BioRender, we’re on a mission to accelerate the world’s ability to learn, discover, and communicate science — transforming how knowledge is shared and making science open, collaborative, and easily understandable by all.

We’re shaping the future of science communication and are looking for talented individuals to help bring this vision to life! 🚀

About the Role

BioRender is looking for a Senior HR Business Partner to support our Go-to-Market teams as we continue to scale. You'll be a trusted partner to leaders, helping build high-performing teams, drive organizational effectiveness, and shape the employee experience across the business.

This is an opportunity to go beyond traditional HRBP work. You'll combine strategic business partnering with operational ownership, while leveraging AI and automation to improve how we work and scale our People operations and programs.

As a growing company, you'll have the chance to build new programs, influence company-wide initiatives, and make a meaningful impact every day.

What you'll do

  • Partner closely with Go-to-Market leaders on team effectiveness, organizational design, workforce planning, performance and compensation management, and employee development.
  • Own and support key employee lifecycle processes, including leaves, offboarding, employee relations, and other People Operations initiatives.
  • Lead and contribute to high-impact People programs such as manager development, career growth frameworks, engagement initiatives, and performance reviews.
  • Use data, AI, automation, and operational excellence to streamline workflows, improve employee experience, and enable the People team to focus on high-value work.

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including experience as an HR Business Partner in a high-growth environment.
  • Proven experience supporting Go-to-Market functions and a genuine interest in partnering with these organizations.
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian employment law and HR practices
  • A hands-on approach with the ability to balance strategic partnership and operational execution.
  • Experience using AI, automation, and data to improve people programs and processes.
  • Strong coaching, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.

Compensation

We use a market-driven approach to compensation and benchmark each role against similar companies in the same location. The hiring range for this role is $123,000-$145,000 CAD. Where a candidate falls within the range depends on their job-related skills, qualifications, and experience demonstrated during the hiring process.

All full-time employees receive equity as part of their total rewards package, along with comprehensive benefits. Salary ranges may differ in other locations.

Why join us?

  • We are mission-driven: we work collaboratively towards our shared vision of improving scientific communication and accelerating scientific discovery. BioRender figures have appeared in more than 54,000 publications!
  • BioRender is loved by millions: We have a world-class NPS and a community of loyal fans and users in 200+ countries!
  • Our company is backed by top investors and accelerators like Y Combinator, and we are on a growth trajectory comparable to many top-performing SaaS companies
  • We’re remote-first with team members across Canada and the U.S., offering you the flexibility to work from anywhere.

BioRender is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status. By submitting this application, you consent to the processing of your personal data by BioRender in accordance with GDPR and our Privacy Policy.
