Position Functions

Test Planning and Design: Collaborate with the development team to understand the requirements and design comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Manual Testing: Conduct thorough manual testing of software applications (UI/UX) to identify defects and ensure compliance with requirements.
Conduct basic API validation using tools such as Postman
Bug Tracking and Reporting: Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools, and communicate findings to the development team for resolution.
Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionality.
Compliance Testing: Ensure that software products comply with industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of requirements and expectations.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the evolution of the QA process.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a QA Analyst role or similar position.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in testing methodologies, automated testing tools (e.g. Playwright. NBomber), and bug tracking systems (e.g. TestRail, Zephyr, Azure, YouTrack).
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and identify root causes of issues.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills (French is a bonus), with the ability to clearly articulate technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
• Detail-Oriented: High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Team Player: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE).
• Knowledge of agile methodologies and experience working in agile development environments.
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, C) for automated testing.
