Personal Housekeeper

We are seeking a Personal Housekeeper to support a private residence in Vancouver. This role requires a detail-oriented, self-sufficient individual who takes pride in maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness, organization, and discretion in residential environments.

What You Will Do 

• Clean and maintain assigned areas including (but not limited to): guest areas/playroom, garage and adjacent rooms (sports room, recycling room, mudroom), all staircases, basement level, exterior entrances, and patios 

• Wash, dust, polish, vacuum, and sweep all assigned areas 

• Vacuum, clean, wash, and properly maintain furniture, fixtures, and sensitive materials 

• Clean sinks, tubs, showers, toilets, mirrors, and windows to prescribed sanitary standards 

• Maintain cleanliness of exterior entrances, covered patios, pool decks, and surrounding areas 

• Keep the garage clean and organized 

• Clean interior and exterior of vehicles as requested 

• Support the overall cleanliness and tidiness of the home 

• Respond professionally to resident requests and inquiries 

• Maintain cleaning equipment in good working order 

• Keep storage areas for equipment and supplies clean and organized 

• Observe and report maintenance or repair issues 

What You Will Bring 

• Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience (residential and/or hotel preferred) 

• Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail 

• Fluent in English and legally authorized to work in Canada 

• Criminal record and background check required 

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred 

• Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques, and methods 

• Experience cleaning sensitive materials and furnishings

• Working knowledge of cleaning equipment 

• Physical stamina and mobility, including bending, kneeling, and reaching 

• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to approximately 35 lbs 

• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays as required

• Professional, discreet, and trustworthy demeanor
