Operations Supervisor (3PL)

Mandate:
Reporting to the department manager, the Warehouse Supervisor will oversee and monitor the performance of distribution center functions, including staffing for receiving, shipping, inventory, and returns. The candidate will ensure effective resource planning and consistent productivity measurement. They will also be responsible for maintaining adherence to green KPIs, health and safety standards, and good housekeeping practices across the facility

Other Responsibilities:

• Coordinate daily labour scheduling and allocate staff to meet fluctuating operational demands; monitor performance using key metrics

• Address employee questions and concerns, resolve operational issues and challenges, report accidents upon occurrence • Provide onboarding training, manage workplace accommodation and time-off requests, and provide coaching/mentoring to employees

• Coordinated with departments to manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts, and ensure timely, accurate order fulfillment per SOPs and client process and activities

• Monitor daily hours and activities against system data to support accurate billing

• Communicate with internal departments and external partners to coordinate order fulfillment and respond to business inquiries, ensuring customer and operational demands are met.

• Participate in development of departmental SOPs

Requirements:
• 2-3 years of experience in a similar role and/or 3PL warehouse environment; previous staff management experience is considered a strong asset
• Knowledge of RF enabled warehouse management system, inventory management & process flows
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; must be able to prepare and analyze inventory system reports
