  • Hourly pay for this position is to start at CAD 30.00 /hr, plus overtime after 44 hours

We're looking for a Crane Operator to join our yard at our Sudbury North location.

What you’re responsible for:

  • Safely operating a crane to lift, move, and position metal materials within the facility
  • Lifting and transporting metal materials using attachments such as magnets or grapples, and safely place them in designated areas or processing equipment
  • Loading and unloading trucks and containers, ensuring proper weight distribution and load security
  • Collaborating and communicating effectively with team members, supervisors, and other personnel
  • Conducting pre and post inspections of the crane, including overall crane maintenance
  • You may be asked to operator the following heavy equipment: Crane, Shear, Loader

To join our team:

  • Crane Operator certification and/or experience is required
  • Minimum of 1 years of experience operating a crane in a heavy industrial setting
  • Attention to detail and the ability to accurately position and handle different types of metal materials
  • Solid understanding of safety protocols and procedures related to crane operation and material handling
  • Familiarity with various crane attachments, such as magnets or grapples
