Job description

Who are we?

Join us at the forefront of innovation in the AI sector. Our mission is to accelerate the future of work. We're not merely envisioning the future; we're actively constructing it. Our work is inspired by Ford's assembly line and Ohno's production system.

We are a well-funded Silicon Valley based Series A startup backed by top-tier VCs.

Our founding team boasts a remarkable track record in AI and startup ecosystem, with each member having previously steered AI startups to unicorn status. As we write this new chapter in AI, we invite you to be part of this exciting journey. Be a part of an exceptional team that's not just watching the future unfold but actively making a huge impact in a short amount of time.

We are growing our engineering team centered around Berlin. This is a great opportunity to work in a European tech hub with global impact.

What you will do

  • Collaborate with the product managers to clearly understand and refine product requirements, aligning them seamlessly with our business goals.
  • Innovate in the field of ML/LLM/NLP by building various models by designing, prototyping, and testing them. While we drive the capabilities of LLMs we expect that in some cases you’ll also apply other ML approaches.
  • Build our foundation models using large-scale historical data as well as data that our services generate on a regular basis.
  • Partner with our production teams to construct and implement scalable, efficient, and dependable ML/NLP systems and pipelines, designed for round-the-clock operation.
  • Play a key role in enhancing our ML productivity, focusing on areas such as automation, data refinement, code efficiency, and procedural improvements.
  • Contribute to the bleeding edge of AI and drive innovation forward, staying ahead of the curve.

What we look for

  • Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
At least 3 years of professional experience in software development with an emphasis on machine learning and natural language processing.
  • Demonstrable experience in creating, implementing, and maintaining ML/NLP models and infrastructures.
  • Willingness to roll up sleeves and get intimate with the data.
K knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs) including experience in training and  fine-tuning LLMs.
  • Background in full-stack development will be considered favorably.
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Go, and in ML/NLP frameworks including PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Transformers.
  • Acquaintance with cloud computing environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and effective communication and teamwork skills.
