Assembles mechanical units or fabricated parts to make sub-assemblies or complete products within routine and repetitive assembly operations. Conducts more complex production tasks such as operating multiple machines. Performs minor machine maintenance. Assists in setting up machines. Works at different workstations as production needs require. May train less experienced coworkers. Typically has more than 5 years of experience and works under general direction. Typical job titles include: Senior operator.

• Welding machines, including calibration
• Cutting torches
• Small hand tools maintenance - grinders, tank cleaning equipment, etc.
• Vehicles maintenance- tire rotation, etc.
• Air compressor maintenance and operation
• Maintenance of the Track equipment
• Forklift operations
• Overhead hoists and cranes
• Trackmobile operation
• Stationary machinery: Drill press, meba saw, band saw, pipe threader, pipe bender, cutoff saw, radial arm drill press, etc.
• Additional related duties as assigned

• Legally able to work in Canada
• Journeyman Millwright certificate
• 2+ year of welding experience
• Inventory management experience
• WHMIS training and experience dealing with hazardous commodities
• Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, around machinery, and in conditions where there are loud noises and fumes
• Detail-oriented and committed to quality
• Excellent time management skills
• Works well as part of a team as well as independently
• Performs tasks that require moderate to heavy physical exertion
• Completes tasks with a sense of urgency while delivering safe and accurate results
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to get to and from work
• Adheres to Procor’s health and safety standards (including the Responsible Care policy), and wears the required personal protective equipment for the job in a safe manner
