Role Summary
The Logistics Analyst is the on-site expert who orchestrates all shipping activities- picking, packing, staging, loading, and system transactions within HP’s distribution operations. Blending shop-floor coordination with advanced analytics, the role ensures that every order departs safely, on time, and in full. Working side-by-side with 3PL partners, Transportation, Customer Support, and IT teams, this individual contributor drives day-to-day execution while uncovering process improvements that elevate customer experience, cost efficiency, and compliance. This position will work onsite at our central DC in Olive Branch, MS.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily outbound operations, ensuring accurate and timely order fulfillment, packing, and shipping in line with HP’s quality and service standards.
Lead and support process improvement initiatives focused on optimizing outbound flow, reducing order cycle times, minimizing shipping errors, and enhancing on-time delivery performance.
Collaborate with Supply Chain, Customer Service, Warehouse, IT, and Transportation teams to coordinate outbound shipments, resolve exceptions, and ensure alignment with customer requirements.
Track real-time metrics such as pick accuracy, order fill rate, on-time ship, trailer utilization, and dock-to-door cycle time; initiate immediate countermeasures when performance drifts.
Serve as the primary point of contact for order expedites, configuration changes, embargo checks, and any customer-facing shipment issues.
Develop and maintain SOPs for outbound operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Perform outbound quality audits- scan accuracy, weight checks, and load inspections- to prevent mis-ships and damage, driving corrective actions with 3PL floor leaders.
Train and coach warehouse staff on best practices for picking, packing, and shipping processes.
Participate in cross-functional projects related to layout optimization, packaging solutions, and supply chain transformation.
Analyse order, carrier, and freight-cost data to uncover waste and bottlenecks; develop dashboards and executive summaries that translate insights into actionable improvement roadmaps.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, or equivalent practical experience.
2+ years of experience in outbound or shipping operations within a distribution, fulfillment, or manufacturing environment.
Working knowledge of ERP/WMS platforms (e.g., SAP) and familiarity with transportation processes managed through a 4PL model.
Proficiency with Excel plus a data-visualization tool such as Power BI or Tableau; able to translate raw data into actionable insights.
Strong communication and influence skills; comfortable directing 3PL associates and collaborating with a remote 4PL team without direct authority.
Understanding of domestic parcel, LTL, and truckload shipping requirements and basic export documentation
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a 3PL-run facility or a technology supply chain
Lean, Six Sigma, or APICS certification (CSCP, CPIM).
Exposure to CTPAT, ISO 9001, or other compliance frameworks.
Familiarity with HP’s products, distribution models, or technology sector best practices.

Compensation and Benefits
The typical base pay range for this role is $51,600 to $74,850 CAD annually. Pay within this range will be based on the review of experience, skills, and internal equity.
As a full time, employee of HP Canada, you will be eligible to participate in the company's group benefit programs, including medical, dental, life insurance, and disability coverage, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. During your employment term, you will receive 15 paid vacation days per year prorated based on your start date. Detailed information regarding benefits—will be provided upon hire and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
