Leasing Paralegal

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Leasing Paralegal to join our in-house legal team. Reporting to the General Counsel, you will support a large commercial real estate portfolio across multiple jurisdictions, working closely with our leasing and property management teams.

What You'll Do

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial leases, letters of intent, amendments, renewals, assignments, subleases, and ancillary leasing documents

• Manage the leasing document lifecycle from LOI through execution, coordinating with leasing and property management teams to meet deal timelines

• Maintain lease templates and standard clauses, including step-down language, across jurisdictions

• Review tenant redlines, flag material deviations from company standards, and escalate significant issues to the General Counsel

• Prepare ancillary documents such as estoppels, SNDAs, landlord waivers, and consents

• Support broader corporate and real estate matters as needed

What You Bring

• 3–5 years of experience in commercial real estate leasing

• Strong drafting and negotiation skills with a high degree of accuracy

• Ability to manage a large workload independently

• Excellent communication skills and sound professional judgment

• Experience with AI drafting tools (e.g., Spellbook) is an asset

Salary Range:

$80,000 - $100,000 CAD Per Year Based On Experience
