The strategic goal of Bosch Group is to deliver innovations for a connected life. Bosch improves the quality of life worldwide with products and services that are both innovative and inspiring. In this way, the company offers “Technology for Life” worldwide.

About your workplace at Bosch:

Do you have logical insight, are you inspired by working with, for example, data and processes, but haven’t yet completed a matching degree? Bosch Power Tools is looking for you!

We offer a position as a starting professional for 32 to 40 hours per week at Bosch, combined with a Bosch-paid HBO part-time program in (Technical) Business Administration or Supply Chain Management. Now that’s what we call a flying start—Like a Bosch!

The Bosch Power Tools division is based in Breda and sells power tools. The markets Bosch targets are both the DIY market and the professional market. In this role, you will work for the DREMEL brand across the entire EMEA region.

This is what you will do as an Entry-Level Business Student at Bosch:

At Bosch, you will have the opportunity to take your first steps as a professional within an international logistics environment. This is a challenging entry-level role where you will be involved in a wide range of tasks and gain extensive experience. With a close-knit team of colleagues, you will quickly learn the ropes and understand our business.

You will ensure optimal product availability in around ten European and African countries, adhering to established logistics KPIs regarding stock levels, overstocks, and costs. You will be responsible for inputting and maintaining timely and accurate forecasts per item, per country. All of this aims to ensure on-time delivery and achieve the agreed service level.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Forecasting per warehouse / country / customer;
  • Leading Sales & Operations meetings;
  • Analyzing data;
  • Creating, maintaining, and deleting various parameters in our logistics systems;
  • Daily stock level monitoring and, if needed, adjusting stock levels and replenishment strategies;
  • Preparing and maintaining various logistics reports.

You are our ideal candidate if:

  • You are eligible for an HBO Bachelor in (Technical) Business Administration and plan to start it this September at a Dutch University of Applied Sciences (or are already enrolled in this or a similar program);
  • You have analytical skills and enjoy developing them further;
  • You have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (strong Excel skills are a big plus);
  • You are fluent in English and Dutch;
  • You are eager to learn and enthusiastic enough to take on this challenge with both hands;
  • Your communication skills are well developed, enabling you to convey information effectively;
  • You are pragmatic, theoretical, and goal-oriented;
  • You live within one hour’s travel from Breda.

You will work in a dynamic department with an open culture and supportive colleagues. We offer a versatile role within a challenging international organization. In addition, there are plenty of opportunities to work independently on your projects (though we are happy to support you). Overall, this is a role full of possibilities and collaboration with the most enjoyable colleagues!

We also offer you:

  • A Bosch-paid HBO Bachelor part-time program (at a Dutch University of Applied Sciences);
  • Competitive salary;
  • 40 vacation days (27 standard + 13 ADV) based on a full-time (40h) workweek;
  • 8% holiday allowance;
  • Travel expense reimbursement;
  • A unique role within an international organization engaged with cutting-edge technologies;
  • Exceptional working atmosphere.

How does Bosch’s application process work?

  1. Introduction with a Corporate Recruiter
  2. First meeting with your future manager and colleagues
  3. Offer and contract with Bosch!
