Janitorial Cleaner (Contract)

We are currently recruiting for a highly motivated, organized and self-driven individual to fill the position of Janitorial Cleaner based out of our Okanagan Facility. The role of the Janitorial Cleaner is to support the production facility’s upkeep and maintenance of a clean and sanitized environment.

Arterra Wines Canada Oliver Winery is a full-service operation from harvest through to final distribution; operating year-round and producing some of the industry’s most awarded wines. Key Responsibilities:

• Sanitizes touchpoints throughout facility
• Empties trash and recycling bins, replace liners as needed, and remove trash to a collection point
• Vacuums carpeting, dust & damp-wipe all horizontal surfaces & furniture
• Sweeps & mops hard surfaces
• Cleans glass windows
• Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms and ensure supplies are fully stocked
• Maintains inventory of cleaning supplies and notifies Office Coordinator to order as needed

Job Requirements:

• Previous janitorial / cleaning experience an asset
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Access to reliable transportation
• Ability to work alone and in a team setting
• Must be punctual and maintain good attendance
• Candidate must be hands on, dependable, and self-starting.
• Commitment to quality with attention to detail.
• Adheres to Health & Safety policies and procedures
• Physically able to perform all aspects of job

Compensation: $21/hour
