Job description

Cellular Diagnostics directly contributes to the real time care of companion animals by developing complex systems that bring premium bench top clinical analyzers to life with full-stack embedded solutions. These analyzers ensure the health and well-being of animals, simplify the workflow of veterinary technicians and enable the success of veterinary businesses of all sizes. Our team operates in a fast-paced, agile environment. We strive to develop technical solutions that bring science and engineering together generating new solutions for veterinary medicine.

As an Instrument Technician, you perform repairs and preventive maintenance on medical equipment (instruments) for blood, urine, milk, and water testing. The IDEXX instruments are mechatronic devices that combine fine mechanics, electronics, and computer science.

In this role:

  • You will troubleshoot to find the cause of a problem with an instrument

  • You will perform repairs and replace parts on instruments

  • You will perform testing and calibration of instruments

  • You will also perform general maintenance on instruments

What you need to succeed:

  • Vocational education in technology or similar levels of working and thinking

  • Experience in precision mechanical and/or electronics repair is a plus

  • Detail-oriented and quality oriented

  • Working accurately, independently, and result-oriented

  • Good command of the English language

This is an on-site role 5 days a week, Monday – Friday.
