We are currently seeking ambitious and hardworking individuals to join our team as Hydrovac Swampers and operators to work in our client sites.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Operate and drive the Hydrovac in a safe and professional manner
- Responsible for the successful & efficient completion of hydro excavation projects
- Comply with company policies and procedures, health and safety procedures, department of transportation, and hazardous/waste requirement regulations
- Demonstrate a commitment to safety and environmental compliance
- Applicants for the swamper position must have a class 5 driver’s license minimum with driving experience.
- Applicants for the Operator position must hold a valid class 3 OR 1 with (Q)Airbrake endorsement or equivalence.
- First aid Alberta/BC, CSO, and H2S are mandatory.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of hydro-vac experience
- Valid class 3 driver’s license with air brakes endorsement **STANDARD Transmission**
- Ground Disturbance, CSTS, H2S, Confined Space, and Fall Protection tickets will be considered an asset
- Clean drivers abstract
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Must be capable of working extended hours and variable shifts
- Must be in good health and physical condition to effectively perform the duties assigned
