Job Description

POSITION: General Helper

LOCATION: Cégep de Lanaudière in Joliette (20 Saint-Charles Sud Street, Joliette, Québec, J6E 4T1)

SALARY: $17.00/hour

SCHEDULE / HOURS: Monday to Friday, from 6h30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (According to the academic calendar)

START DATE: Immediately – 2026

Job Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
• Operate the cash register
• Perform general food preparation
• Serve customers
• Restock shelves and refrigerators
• Rotate products in refrigerators
• Clean service areas
• Participate in dishwashing
• Comply with established safety regulations
• Perform any other related duties as needed

Qualifications

• 1 to 2 years of experience in food service or restaurant operations (an asset)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Positive attitude
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Customer-service oriented

The finalist candidate for this position must complete and pass a criminal background check and a vulnerable sector check (if required by operations).
