Job Description

Overview

The Finance Integration & Data Lead represents the Finance function across all ERP onboarding and integration initiatives while owning the end-to-end data conversion strategy. This role ensures that integrations are delivered in alignment with the One ERP global template, while maintaining the highest standards of data quality, consistency, and governance.

This position is critical to balancing business value realization with strict template adherence and ensuring seamless, high-quality data onboarding into the ERP ecosystem.

Your role

Finance Leadership for ERP Integrations:

  • Lead Finance workstreams for all ERP onboarding initiatives.
  • Define and validate finance requirements across core processes, including Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, project costing, and related finance processes.
  • Ensure alignment between business needs, finance process standards, and system capabilities.

Global Template Governance — Standard First:

  • Assess integration requirements against the global ERP template.
  • Identify gaps and determine whether they deliver critical business value and justify template evolution, or whether they should be rejected to preserve standardization and scalability.
  • Drive disciplined decision-making with Finance, IT, business, and operations stakeholders.

Data Conversion Strategy & Execution:

  • Define and maintain the enterprise data conversion strategy aligned with the long-term integration roadmap.
  • Lead data migration activities including data mapping, transformation, cleansing, enrichment, validation, reconciliation, and sign-off.
  • Ensure completeness, accuracy, and integrity of financial, master, and relevant historical data.

Data Governance & Quality:

  • Ensure alignment with enterprise data governance standards and controls.
  • Define quality frameworks for master data, transactional data, and historical data loads.
  • Partner with business and IT data owners to maintain consistency across systems.

Cross-Functional Coordination:

  • Act as the primary Finance interface across IT integration teams, business and operations stakeholders, change management teams, and finance process owners.
  • Ensure seamless coordination between process, systems, and data workstreams.
  • Support effective decision-making, escalation, and resolution of integration and data conversion issues.

Value Realization & Stabilization:

  • Ensure integrations improve data quality, process consistency, reporting reliability, and operational efficiency.
  • Support post-go-live stabilization, issue resolution, and continuous improvement.
  • Capture lessons learned and refine the integration and data conversion playbook for future onboarding waves.

About you

  • 10–15+ years of experience in Finance transformation, ERP implementations, integration programs, or data migration.
  • Bilingualism (French and English)
  • Strong experience with data migration, ETL, data mapping, cleansing, reconciliation, and conversion governance.
  • Experience in M&A integrations and complex global environments is a strong asset.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a global, matrixed environment.
  • Deep understanding of finance processes within ERP environments; Oracle experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong partnership mindset across Finance, IT, Business, and Operations.
  • Strategic thinking with strong execution discipline.
  • Clear communication, structured problem solving, and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Commitment to standardization, governance, value realization, and continuous improvement.

* Member of the Canadian or Global Leadership Team: This position requires knowledge of a language other than French, namely English, as it involves collaboration with members of the Canadian or global leadership team located outside Québec.
